OVERVIEW

Mingzheng Xiao, PhD in Applied Psychology is professor in human resource management, Chair of Department of Public Administration, School of Government, Peking University and director of the Research Center of HRD&M, Peking University. Mingzheng Xiao has a multi-disciplinary teaching and research experiences related to mathematics, education, psychology, human resources development and management, labor economics and public administration.

Professor Xiao once taught at the Institute of Labor and Personnel, Renmin University of China, then school of economics and management, Tsinghua University, and now he is a professor at School of Government, Peking University. He has visited Harvard University, Columbia University, Wharton Business School, Rutgers University, URUC, Durham University, Oxford University, Manchester University, Hosei University of Japan and National University of Singapore. He has consulting experience for more than 60 enterprises, institutions and government organizations with management consulting projects and the selection of senior management talents. He is the team leader of the Strategic Talent Evaluation Research program for the "the national long-term human resources plan 2010-2020 for China” and the Executive Chairman of the 6th International Conference of the Academy of HRD. Professor Xiao is the pioneer and founder the research for the evaluation on Talent’s virtuousnessjob analysishuman resource development in organizations and vocational qualification methods in China.
